Mode Guide

Play two-player pool on one device.

Breakshot 3D includes a local mode for taking turns on the same screen. It is a simple way to run a quick 8-ball match without account setup, downloads, or extra hardware.

Who this mode is for

Local two-player is best for casual matches, side-by-side practice, and testing whether your shot decisions hold up against another person instead of the CPU.

How to use it well

  • Agree on shot pace before starting so turns stay fluid.
  • Use the same camera habits each turn to keep the read consistent.
  • Pause between turns to read the next route instead of rushing the cue.

Best prep before a local match

If the players are rusty, review the 8-ball rules first. If cue-ball control is the bigger problem, use the spin guide and the aiming guide before the match starts.

To start a local session, open the game and choose the local two-player mode from the menu.
